Mayaeni's Last New York Show

Mayaeni's upcoming July 22nd show in New York looks like it will be her last one in the city. Here's what she had to say about it:

"So I finally did in New York what I came here to do. I have a full album complete with Grammy winning producers. It sounds like a simple thing to do since it can be summed up in one sentence. But trust me, doing just that entailed so much. I had to go through numerous experiences good and bad to even get to this level. I'm moving out of New York for a while as of August. To move to California, London, or just be a nomad. I'm doing one last show here in New York before I leave. I have a full 7 piece band, and will be doing all my new songs. This show will be filmed as part of my DVD for the labels. So I will need all the support I can get of you all coming down."

We're sure New York will miss her, but it looks like she is moving on to bigger and better things. She is so talented and we can't wait to see what success awaits her. Don't forget to go out and support Mayaeni on the 22nd when she will be performing at the Annex (152 Orchard Street)!
