I wonder if it has anything to do with Sade's upcoming album. I tot the dates were too close..
@MyneWhitman: The thought definitely crossed our minds; according to Amazon.com, Sade's sales already rank at number 4 and the album hasn't even been released. OYO's sales on the other hand rank at number 37,095. That's just one forum and who knows how much of a predictor it is of actual sales, but there's no question Sade has received more press for her album as this is her first release of new material in almost a decade.
At the end of the day, the women appeal to different audiences because their music is different. We'll be buying both albums and hope both of them do really well!
