Written By: MIM!—We think French/Gabonese singer Iliona Blanc's music from her debut album Chipiemiania is the perfect soundtrack to an active yet peaceful Sunday morning. Despite being sung entirely in French Iliona's folk-pop-reaggae-African music is accessible, much like Zap Mama and Les Nubians' music is. We can't help but ♥ Iliona because she writes her lyrics and plays her own guitar, which she named "Chipie" (hence the title of her debut album).
