Wear Africa On Your Sleeve: Indego Africa And Nicole Miller Shorts

(( Written By:  Staff Writer )) In September of last year, fashion designer Nicole Miller collaborated with Indego Africa, a nonprofit social enterprise that lifts women-owned businesses in Rwanda, to produce a range of colorful bracelets.  That fashion conscious (or as we call it, fashion conscience) collaboration earned Nicole Miller and Indego Africa an "Excellence in Product Design" award from the Fair Trade Federation.  This year, Nicole Miller's collaboration with Indego Africa has produced a ready-to-wear line.  Our favorite piece from the ready-to-wear line are these shorts, which are perfect for sunny days.   Buy the (1) persimmon pair here, (2) chartreuse pair here, and (3) mustard pair here.  (And if you're wondering what to pair your Afri-chic shorts with, how about a white button down or chambray shirt and a pair of wedge sandals).
